Your Zimbabwean safari starts now. This country has so much to offer when it comes to wildlife, people and southern African landscapes, and after a few brief introductions, we'll have your safari underway in no time.

One of Africa's mightiest rivers and an icon of the southern African safari, the Zambezi has almost as many personalities as it does miles. Go birding, watch wildlife come to drink along its banks, or sense the gathering suspense as it nears Victoria Falls in all its explosive glory.

In Victoria Falls Airport this afternoon someone from our company will meet and greet you as an introduction to your journey with us.
We will pick you up from Victoria Falls Airport this afternoon and take you to the next stage of your journey.

In Zambezi River, you'll join us for a sundowner, that classic safari tradition of having a few drinks in a beautiful place while you watch the sunset.

Day 2 & 3

Hwange National Park

Get to know incredible Hwange National Park. This is a brilliant place to see wildlife, including some of Africa's largest elephant herds and an array of predators that includes lion, cheetah, leopard, spotted hyena and African wild dog. Zimbabwe's largest park has a terrific safari infrastructure, but there are also fantastic wilderness trails where you can immerse yourself in the silence of wild Africa. Hwange is in western Zimbabwe, close to the border with Botswana, and it is part of the vitally important Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area.

Bordering Hwange National Park and very close to the main entrance gate, Hwange Safari Lodge has good views, and elephants and other animals pass through on a daily basis. Natural light fills the modern rooms and there are many ways to relax at the lodge, which has a swimming pool, restaurant, bar and sweeping grounds.

Day 4 & 5

Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park sits right alongside the Okavango Delta and is one of Africa's elite wildlife-viewing destinations. Within its boundaries, you'll find Savuti (which is famous for its lions and leopards) and Chobe Riverfront (which has big herds of some of southern Africa's biggest elephants). There's a great mix of landscapes as well.

This afternoon you get to go on a guided game drive which is always a safari highlight. It's an especially good way to explore Chobe National Park and get to know the wildlife and the animals that you might see.

Sit down and relax this morning while we serve you breakfast.
The guided game drive is the best thing about going on safari and that's what you'll be doing this morning in Chobe National Park. From the comfort of your vehicle, there's always a chance that you might see some of the animals that you came so far to see.
