At Hwange Safari Lodge you're not far from the entrance to wonderful Hwange National Park, and you are likely to see plenty of elephants and other passing wildlife at the waterhole. It's a popular, well-run place with expansive grounds bordering the park, friendly service and modern, light-filled rooms. You can also relax in the bar-restaurant or around the swimming pool.

Day 2

Hwange National Park

Get to know incredible Hwange National Park. This is a brilliant place to see wildlife, including some of Africa's largest elephant herds and an array of predators that includes lion, cheetah, leopard, spotted hyena and African wild dog. Zimbabwe's largest park has a terrific safari infrastructure, but there are also fantastic wilderness trails where you can immerse yourself in the silence of wild Africa. Hwange is in western Zimbabwe, close to the border with Botswana, and it is part of the vitally important Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area.

This morning we'll serve you breakfast, which is always one of the most enjoyable meals while on safari.
You’ll look for wildlife and learn all about what you see in Hwange National Park on a guided game drive led by our professional guide this morning.

Join us for a picnic in Hwange National Park, where you get to eat great food while surrounded by nature.

Afternoon

This afternoon you get to go on a guided game drive which is always a safari highlight. It's an especially good way to explore Hwange National Park and get to know the wildlife and the animals that you might see.

This evening one of our representatives will take you to your hotel.

It can be hard to look away from mighty Victoria Falls, one of the most impressive sights anywhere in Africa. The wall of water, known here as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the ‘smoke that thunders’), is a stunning, mesmerizing view.

Day 4

Chobe River

Running along the international border between Namibia and Botswana, the Chobe River is one of southern Africa's most important wildlife rivers. You'll almost certainly see hippos and crocs in the river, as well as plenty of birds, and there's always lots of wildlife by the shore. This is especially true in Chobe National Park on the Botswana side.

Chobe National Park

Explore Chobe National Park, a park famous for its big cats, especially in the Savuti region, while the Chobe Riverfront section of the park is particularly good for big herds of big elephants.

There's no better way for you to see Chobe River than on the guided game drive we'll take you on this morning. Get your camera and binoculars ready, sit back in our vehicle, and enjoy looking for the wildlife.
