Day 1

Zambezi River

We know you can't wait to get started, and after welcoming you to Zimbabwe and a few brief formalities, it's time to get out there and explore. Zimbabwe has some amazing wildlife, and we know you're about to have the trip of a lifetime.

One of Africa's mightiest rivers and an icon of the southern African safari, the Zambezi has almost as many personalities as it does miles. Go birding, watch wildlife come to drink along its banks, or sense the gathering suspense as it nears Victoria Falls in all its explosive glory.

This afternoon in Victoria Falls Airport you will be met by one of our company representatives. They will greet you and get you ready to begin your journey with us.

Accommodation Day 1

Get ready for a luxury experience when you stay with us at Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel. It's in the main town, but from the hotel you can hear the waterfalls and see the spray from Victoria Falls, which is a short walk away. Luxury rooms come with artful African decorative touches, and everything is wonderful, from the bars and restaurants to the service and swimming pool.

Day 2

Hwange National Park

Get to know incredible Hwange National Park. This is a brilliant place to see wildlife, including some of Africa's largest elephant herds and an array of predators that includes lion, cheetah, leopard, spotted hyena and African wild dog. Zimbabwe's largest park has a terrific safari infrastructure, but there are also fantastic wilderness trails where you can immerse yourself in the silence of wild Africa. Hwange is in western Zimbabwe, close to the border with Botswana, and it is part of the vitally important Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area.

Afternoon

The guided game drive is the best thing about going on safari and that's what you'll be doing this afternoon in Hwange National Park. From the comfort of your vehicle, there's always a chance that you might see some of the animals that you came so far to see.

Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls will leave you spellbound with its scale and majesty: it really is one of the most remarkable natural scenes in Africa. It's not hard to see why locals call it Mosi-oa-Tunya, or the ‘smoke that thunders’.

This is the last day of your safari when we go our separate ways. We're so happy you chose to travel with us, and we hope to see you again soon.
