Welcome to Zimbabwe! It's time to get your safari started, and after some minor introductory formalities, we'll get you out there on this wonderful safari journey of discovery.

One of Africa's mightiest rivers and an icon of the southern African safari, the Zambezi has almost as many personalities as it does miles. Go birding, watch wildlife come to drink along its banks, or sense the gathering suspense as it nears Victoria Falls in all its explosive glory.

Your journey with us starts here in Victoria Falls Airport this afternoon when one of our representatives will greet you and make sure your trip begins well.

It's in the main town, but from the hotel you can hear the waterfalls and see the spray from Victoria Falls, which is a short walk away. Day 2

Chobe National Park

Welcome to Botswana's best national park for watching wildlife. Chobe is like an extension of the Okavango Delta, and contains two of Botswana's most rewarding wildlife areas: Savuti and Chobe Riverfront. Big cats are a real feature in these parts, but it's the big herds of really big elephants that will provide many of your most memorable sightings.

Self-Guided Game Drive, Chobe National Park

On your self-guided game drive, you're the one who makes the decisions of where to go, how long to stay, and when to move on to the next sighting. With that freedom comes a real sense of discovery and adventure, and it makes it a lot easier to escape the crowds and head out into the wilds without them.

Early this morning we'll serve you breakfast, which is always one of the most enjoyable meals while on safari.

You’ll look for wildlife and learn all about what you see in Chobe National Park on a guided game drive led by our professional guide this morning.

Afternoon

It's time for a break, so sit back and enjoy the good food as we serve you lunch.
Come with us this afternoon for a guided game drive. We love showing off the landscapes and wildlife of Chobe National Park, and part of the excitement is about never quite knowing which animals are going to appear.

Victoria Falls

It can be hard to look away from mighty Victoria Falls, one of the most impressive sights anywhere in Africa. The wall of water, known here as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the ‘smoke that thunders’), is a stunning, mesmerizing view.

This is the last day of your safari when we go our separate ways. We're so happy you chose to travel with us, and we hope to see you again soon.
