Hwange National Park

We know you can't wait to get started, and after welcoming you to Zimbabwe and a few brief formalities, it's time to get out there and explore. Zimbabwe has some amazing wildlife, and we know you're about to have the trip of a lifetime.

Get to know incredible Hwange National Park. This is a brilliant place to see wildlife, including some of Africa's largest elephant herds and an array of predators that includes lion, cheetah, leopard, spotted hyena and African wild dog. Zimbabwe's largest park has a terrific safari infrastructure, but there are also fantastic wilderness trails where you can immerse yourself in the silence of wild Africa. Hwange is in western Zimbabwe, close to the border with Botswana, and it is part of the vitally important Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area.

At Hwange Safari Lodge you're not far from the entrance to wonderful Hwange National Park, and you are likely to see plenty of elephants and other passing wildlife at the waterhole. It's a popular, well-run place with expansive grounds bordering the park, friendly service and modern, light-filled rooms. You can also relax in the bar-restaurant or around the swimming pool.
